Inaugural Grant Cycle · 2026–2027

Enriching our Los Angeles community through arts, education, and the environment.

The JASC Family Foundation supports teachers, faculty, and school community members with vision — those best positioned to create meaningful change for students and the communities around them.

Our Mission

A new California foundation, rooted in place.

The JASC Family Foundation is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation organized for charitable purposes. Our mission is to support organizations and individuals who seek to enrich the local Los Angeles community — especially in the areas of arts, education, and the environment — and to carry on other charitable activities associated with this purpose as allowed by law.

We believe meaningful change begins in the classroom and in the community. That's why we fund projects led by the people closest to the work: teachers, faculty, and school community members with fresh ideas and a vision for their students.

Arts

Murals, performances, residencies, instruments, supplies — creative work that shapes how students see themselves and their community.

Education

Classroom improvements, field trips, guest speakers, and learning experiences that wouldn't otherwise be possible.

Environment

Community gardens, habitat restoration, sustainability initiatives, and projects that connect students to the natural world.
